I don't think Benny Hill was funny but there is a theory about that his theme tune when applied appropriately can stop you from feeling sad. So Dan from All That Goes With It thought he would test out this idea using the film that many have said is the most tear jerking of all.

Now I'm easily manipulated, I'll weep like a baby at a dog food commercial if they put in the right amount of pathos. So I reckon I'm a pretty good test subject and I can safely say I sat there without even the start of a bottom lip tremble, in fact I may have sniggered once or twice.

Isn't YouTube Brilliant, it hosts loads and loads of content from original stuff like the smiley bit above to the wee films I took on holiday recently to copyright infringement stuff like the fast show bit to the bits the beeb is actually pushing like the BBC2 idents in the last post.

Of course as most of its users seem to be semi literate 14 year boys the comments on most of the films are shite. I've decided that I'm all for free speech but only if the person taking advantage of this right, can prove to the satisfaction of an independent authority they can write in their native language without resorting to text speak.

Apart from them idiots, YouTube rocks

Other cool things I have seen today:- Waitrose have started selling eggs in boxes of 4s which is rather cool, I don't eat eggs enough to justify a six box

The Mighty Boosh

As part of my birthday present Simon got me The Mighty Boosh series 1 and 2 which is rather ace as think they are brill. They have been described as the Morcambe and Wise for our age which is perhaps rather strong, but they are very good. I feel more of a Reeves and Mortimer influence, they are silly and surreal, and there is an element of The Goodies too. I think they are great, far more inventive and funnier than Little Britain and not as snide.
