Manbags

Amusing article in the Guardian. I think manbags are a wonderful idea, a sensible solution for the amount of stuff men feel that they have to carry around with them at all times. Get the right bag and I don't think anyone could accuse the carrier of being "wussy". Plastic bags from Tescos do not count as man bags no matter how much some of my colleagues may think that they do.

I think it's only fair for me to re-issue this warning.

about time an all! I'm surprised that manbags have only recently caught on. I'm sick of cramming all my stuff in my pockets and don't you just bet I will go the extra mile and buy a women's handbag at some point.

I have been carrying a manbag for years now in boy mode...... and refuse to use a wallet, instead have a velvet purse.... bugger these macho types, so much easier to carry a bag than sit on a great big wallet all day..... and keys and smokes, and lighter and eyeliner, and..... well you get the idea......

I had given this a lot of thought over and over long before I saw this posting. I believe if men had bags, we wouldn't be constantly leaving things behind. A friend of mine was out in a company vehicle about a week ago, he was at a Waffle House with his partner eating lunch. When they left, my friend Jimmy, left his phone behind. When he noticed it missing, he had to drive back 30+ miles to get it.

The biggest problem with men having bags (or a purse) is becoming a target for the Macho men in the world and the Christian community. Nither of these groups would admit they were influenced by the rules of society, but if they are not -- what is their fuss all about?
